Shelley, a native of the Midwest, began her initial career in law enforcement at the tender age of 18. Her husband's career landed them in Atlanta where Shelley successfully launched her own window treatment business. After several years running her own workroom, she returned to the academic environment and earned her BFA from the Art Institute of Atlanta. In between travels, Shelley & Terry spend their free time watching their daughter, Tamara, play soccer or their son, Stephen, swim. Their two four-legged babies Bear and Bama enjoy being walked, fed, and scratched behind the ears.
